Top Three Self Tanning Products

Hello everyone!

If there is one thing I know is that summer is a rough time for us pale girls.  Honestly, I have learned to love my pale skin but sometimes you just want a little extra glow for a special occasion.  I have tried out three amazing products this summer and I wanted to tell you all about them!

1. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Deep 4oz • $11.74 •
   This was sent to me in my inflencer box! (Don’t know what that is?  Check it out here!)  This was one of the best things I tried to transform my legs! It left me with silky smooth legs and gave me the right amount of color that I didn’t look crazy with tanner legs than the rest of my body.  I would shy away from trying to put this anywhere else but for your legs this is my number one pick! I am obsessed.
2. Tarte maracuja rainforest glow instant matte waterproof body perfector, park ave princess • $39
   This and the Sally Hansen product are very very similar but this one is safe to use all over your body!  This is what I was wearing on my 21st birthday to get a nice glow (Check out that vlog here!) I was honestly worried that it would transfer throughout the night when we were out but it stayed on my skin into the early morning!
3. St Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse • $44 •
   This is an old tried and true for the beauty community and it has that badge of honor for a reason!  This is the most natural form of tan that you can find in a bottle.  Also, this one is a gradual tan that is longer lasting than the other two.  If I had to choose one of the three to go out and buy I would splurge on this one because of the longevity of the tan!

Making Moves: Organization Check List

After my last post about cleaning up your space and only keeping what is needed I was asked to explain more about how I do that!  This is where my Organization Check List comes into play.  If anything applies to the items in your house GET RID OF THEM! 

• Old Reading Material:
  • Chances are you’re not going to read that old magazine, so get rid of it! 
  • If you have old text books laying around check if Amazon Trade-In will give you money for it! 
  • Old books you’ll never read? Donate them or give them to someone who hasn’t read them.  But be honest with yourself if you’re going to read them again.
• Documents:
  • Honestly, are you really going to need these again?  If so think about going digital!  Use VuPoint Solutions Magic Wand Portable Scanner to scan all your documents online and put them on an external hard drive! 
  • If you have receipts of things you’re not going to return or don’t need come income tax time throw them out.
• Clothes:
  • Have you worn it in the last year?  If no then donate it.
  • Does it have sentimental value?  If so then see above, if not donate it! 
• Makeup and Perfume:
  • Check the expiration date!  Yes, makeup does expire and it should be located on the label of the makeup.  It is calculated by the amount of months you can keep it once opened.  Be sure to binge your makeup once every 6 months so you’re not spreading bacteria on your face!
• Unused Electronics:
  • If you have the newer version then get rid of it!  Quite often Amazon Trade-In will buy these back as well! 
  • You can also sell your electronics on Nextworth.com

I hope this makes your space more livable!  I am in the process of purging most of what I own and it feels great!

TOP SUMMER WEDDING DRESSES UNDER $100

Later this week I will be attending a wedding! (yay!) I’ll be sure to vlog it and do a blog post on my outfit.  With summer weddings come the issue of what to wear.  In the summer everything is white, open backed, short, and not appropriate for a wedding.  While shopping for my summer wedding dress I have found a few rules that made my shopping experience better:

1. Do not wear white! (This is a given at all times)
2. Do try something with a fun print and lots of color! (Adelyn Rae Floral Print Jacquard Fit & Flare Dress • $92 YES.) 
3. You should know the type of wedding it’s going to be and what is appropriate.  And if not ask a friend who is also attending what they’re wearing!
4. Above the knee is perfect, anything less may be too short.

6. If it’s outside on grass then heels may not be the best option.

Making Moves: Small Place Decor

Living in a small area means you have to be very thoughtful on what you’re going to decorate with.  Most of the time furniture is a focal point in a room but when that furniture has to be smaller it can blend in with the background.  This is why you must play up your living area in other aspects!  You must choose your focals and the overall feel of your apartment that you’re trying to achieve.  For me that was easy, I want: Clean, black and white, highlighted gold, and very simple.  With this easy color scheme I was able to find a ton of things I liked!
Decorative Pillows and Throws:
The couch is a great place to throw some color and fun into your space!  Work with your color scheme and run with it.  I’ve never heard of Dot & Bo before but I quickly fell in love with all of their items.  These pillows are to die for!

Coffee Table Essentials:
Coffee tables are made for so much more than just your morning wake up!  There are so many different things that you can put there, including: candles, trays, coffee table books, and flowers!  Coffee table books are my favorite and I have been collecting a few that will look great when I move in, but I don’t have many of the other essentials so below are a few things that caught my eye.

Gallery Wall:
I am sure you have seen those beautiful gallery walls on tumblr!  I am just as obsessed as you are, promise.  I have planned to have a gallery wall every since I realized I was going to have a huge wall that has no interruptions like windows or doors.  Be sure your gallery wall is a mixture of art work and personal pictures, that will make yours so much more special than the ones on tumblr.  I plan on getting a picture of Diesel and I printed on a canvas to put on mine!  Also fun items like mirrors and paintings add a fun touch!
