One of my favorite things to put into my smoothies is a ripe avocado. There are plenty of reasons why you should go out and eat an avocado right now. Most notably: avocados are the only fruit that provides a large amount of monounsaturated fat (the healthy kind). Avocados are a naturally nutrient-dense food and contain nearly 20 vitamins and minerals! If that’s not reason enough to incorporate them into your diet then I don’t know what is.
Today I used what I had in my kitchen, which lead to:
Two medium bananas
Half an avocado
1 cup of frozen strawberries
At this point all you need to do is throw it in a blender and enjoy!
